DRESS CODE
Dress for all conference events except the Closing Dinner Event on Saturday evening is business casual. The dress code for the Closing Dinner Event is business.
TRAVEL & ACCOMODATIONS
Attendees that are flying into San Diego should use the San Diego International Airport (SAN) for their travel.
AMGA has reserved a room block at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego at the attendee rate of $285 per night. To make reservations, please contact the hotel directly at (619) 232-1234 and request the AMGA room rate. You will need your conference registration confirmation number to complete the reservation.
Upon landing, there are taxis available on the lower level of all terminals for approximately ($13) and several shuttles available for approximately $8 per person. Express Shuttle service is available with reservations. Call 800-900-7433 to reserve these shuttles.

VISITING SAN DIEGO
San Diego is sunny Southern California at its finest. Known for its great weather, San Diego has an average March temperature of 60° F with warm breezes coming off the Pacific Ocean – close to perfect weather for enjoying the many attractions the city has to offer.
ESSENTIAL ATTRACTIONS

San Diego Zoo (3.1 miles) – Known as one of the best zoos in America, the San Diego Zoo houses over 4,000 animals in its 1,000 acres. With many ways to view these exotic animals including guided bus tours, walking paths, and aerial tram, there is an experience for everyone!

San Diego Museum of Art (2.6 miles) – San Diego’s Museum of Art opens its doors to nearly 250,000 visitors every year. The museum boasts a nationally renowned permanent collection of masterpieces from around the world and will be featuring exhibits on Japanese and Buddhist Cave art during the month of March.

Old Town San Diego State Historic Park (4.4 miles) – The site of California’s first permanent settlement, Old Town San Diego has seven original adobe structures and distinctly Mexican flavor. With an abundance of restaurants and shops, you’re sure to experience authentic Mexican cuisine, art, and culture.

Seaport Village (0.4 miles) – Disguised as a 19th-century California harbor town, Seaport Village boasts over 50 shops and some of the city’s best seafood restaurants along the San Diego Bay boardwalk.
- San Diego-Coronado Ferry (2.5 miles) – Launching from San Diego Bay, this ferry will take you on a scenic 15-minute cruise across the bay to the peninsula of Coronado. While there, have a waterfront meal or visit the Hotel del Coronado, a San Diego landmark since 1988.
